The collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) began with the Politecnico’s Electrical Engineering course, which welcomed the first Chinese PhD student in 2007 and launched a double Master’s degree program with XJTU’s School of Electrical Engineering in the 2012/2013 academic year.
Subsequently, the two universities signed a series of agreements for short-term mobility, double Master’s degrees, and double PhD programs covering all areas of study at Politecnico: engineering, architecture, and design.
These initiatives offer students and researchers opportunities for international growth, fostering cultural and academic exchanges between the two institutions.
